| This seasonal mountain hideaway was inspired by the delicate Edelweiss melody of a music box, for which it was initially custom designed. After developing this idea in miniature scale, I felt it would be even more dramatic on canvas. Working with my primary vision of autumn and a rich, seasonal color scheme, developing an illustration to express a homeland setting in harmony with the beauty of the song was very natural. If this were my homeland, I would want its charm and private nature to be blessed forever. | ||||||||
