| A pathway toward inner peace was the focus of this work. We all have a place we imagine when feeling most anxious, a place that will help us find stable ground and “serenity”. Many of us have multiple “escape hatches” in our minds that are easily retrieved in moments of need. This pathway is one I’ve traveled over and over again in my head, when my teeth are getting drilled at the dentist for example, or during moments of overwhelming stress...and, is simply explained as a small diversion in one of my many “happy places”. | |||||||||
