| The charming dwelling in Cottage Hideaway is a real home that I have long admired. Nestling the cottage among the trees along my quite woodland path allowed me to illustrate this unique home in, what was to me, a dream-like setting. From the initial sketch, the painting was very clear in my mind -- late afternoon on a pleasant summer day, a lone bench on which to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature before continuing a leisurely stroll toward this peaceful Cottage Hideaway. | ||||||||
